Hi Karen, we have spoken via email before. I am looking for the children of Jesse Wells and read with great interest a possible family bible from this line. I believe Jesse is the father of David O. Wells. In the earliest census (1850 from McMinn, TN) Jesse shows up with 7 children - the one known is Rachel and then probably Edy, Stephen, three unnamed sons and two unnamed daughters. I am looking for proof that Jesse and David are related.
