My gg-grandfather, Dr. Samuel Thompson (8 Mar 1798 PA - 10 Mar 1879 Ralls Co, MO) married Cynthia Hewit (1798 NY - 1850 Adams Co, IL) on 27 Oct 1817 in Athens Co, OH. They came to Adams Co. in 1833 with 6 children and had 2 more before her death. Does my Cynthia share any common ground with your Hewitt line?
