They lived in Columbus. George arrived in the U.S. approx. 1855. His first wife was Catherine. They had two children Louisa and John. Catherine and Louisa must have died since they are in the 1860 census with George but don't show up in any other censuses. George married Mary in November 1861. George was born in Germany about 1828. Mary was also born in Germany about 1838 Children: John, William, Charley, George, Mary E., Mary H.
