But if you really look, his wife must've been dead by 1880 if she is not listed and his status is that of a widow. I didn't look to make sure but I thought it said his marital status was widow. Am I right? Melrose Township is not Sycamore street. But then again, they may have lived in Melrose Township and moved into town later around 1900. Glad I could help. I am digging through my catholic death index's for her now and so far no luck. I still have 2 others to check. I FOUND HER!! Ok, this is what it says and yes she was dead.
