My g-g-grandmother was Jane "Jennie" Mullen Donley, b. Feb.9, 1839, d.Feb. 26, 1885. Jane immigrated from Ireland to Adams County, Illinois in the early 1860's with her husband Henry Donnelly, her mother Alice Mullen, and two sisters Eliza and Mary Mullen. I don't know when "our" Mary Mullen was born, but these dates are close enough to get my attention. Do you have any information that would confirm or deny a connection? Thank you.
