I'm interested in info on Tyrus and Mary (Brown/Knapp) McCargar, however, my primary interest is in Mary's son from her first marriage, John Davis Knapp, Jr. He was my gg-grandmother's nephew. I'm hoping to track down my ggg-grandparents and am looking for any clues I can find. I'd received a response to a post from John Jr's gdaughter, but I don't think she was actually "into" genealogy and never responded to me 2nd email - she was being very cautious.
