Hi Sue, I knew I left out something. Yes, she came to Quincy and married Herman HERING at St. Boniface in 1860, they had 8 children including my grandmother, Elizabeth born 1864. Herman was a tailor and both died in 1908. Interestingly, I have never been able to find any civil references to them although they lived in Quincy almost 50 years. Elizabeth was married to Richard Roland BENNETT in 1893 in Wichita, KS; another mystery. How did they meet? Ed Florida
