Hi, I just saw a message for Adams County on birth in Adams County and I notice one of the surnames was Politte. Have you every found it spelled Polite? My gggrandmother was Margaret Polite and her obit said she was born in Adams County but I have been unable to find any information on her in Adams County so I am very much interested in your Politte family. My Polite was Margaret and she had a brother Andrew and a sister Anna Marie. Andrew and Margaret ended up in Hancock County Illinois.
