My great-grandmother Clara Elenor Steinkamp was b. 1885 in the St. Louis area, and her father was named Henry Steinkamp. She had two stepsisters by her father's 2nd marriage, Alma and Mary. The family was from Bremen. Sounds related to these folks you found, maybe cousins? Clara married Clarence Ray Davis.
