Did I get this person's name right? I see where people are talking about "Vance" as a last name. Do you know what county in NC Paul died? Also, was his mother's maiden name Vance. I noticed he had JR. after his name so I am assuming his father was Paul Winters, Sr. I found several Vances in Avery County, NC. I used the National Search Engine. I went through some of the censuses and cemetery postings they had. I found a "Winters Cemetery, Avery Co. NC, White Rock Mt. area. They also had some early marriage listed, but found no names in any of the sections for Paul. I went to the Ohio USGENWEB. Unfortunately, a lot of their counties are affected by the server gennet, who is having difficulties atthis time. Wish I could be of more help.
