Roberta, & list, Did your Lewis Thompson have any connection with a Margaret Thompson who married Thomas Evans 1822 in Bath Co. KY. He died about 1833. Margaret Thompson Evans moved from Indiana to Adams Co with her family in 1849 buying land from William M. Bird and his wife Louisa. Margaret with children Joseph Milton Evans, John Harvey Evans, Thomas Evans and James Perry Evans lived next door to her daughter Sarah and Lewis D. Shaffer in Gilmer twp.
