Thought you might want to see how it all turned out. Thanks for your help. She was married to Gerd Focken Mueller. The LDS microfilm at Popens and the Wiesens OSB have already been checked, no luck. I'm not sure why the maiden name of Meints was not used, maybe someone can explain this situation. Source: LDS microfilm #1187654. Miller, died on 10 May 1881 in Adams Co. IL. He is buried at the Meints Cemetery, Adams County, Illinois. The Meints Cemetery records indicate he was born 14 Feb 1814. His wife, Gesche (Flessner) Miller, b. 10 Nov 1817, d. 23 July 1879, is buried in the same plot according to Meints Cemetery records. Due to the differences in his wives' age, 1814 vs 1817, and the fact that there is not any mention of "Flessner" in the birth/baptism records, I believe Gesche Flessner Miller is his second wife and they were married sometime after the July 31, 1851 birth of his last child, whose mother was Geesche Dircks, b. 1814. I am still looking for confirmation of this theory via a marriage license or obituary giving more information about Gesche Flessner and Gerd Focken Miller. Thanks to everyone who provided clues about this family prior to locating the LDS microfilm records. Any information about Gesche Dircks Meints Mueller would be greatly appreciated.
