I'll try to dig up info on her based on your grandfather's name. Lucy Ealy (maiden Hudson) married William or Wally T. Kelly. He changed his name from Walquist we think when he came over from Sweden. Lucy had a son while in Portland Oregon by the name of Wren Mathew Kelly, on 4/11/1909. Wren is my grandfather. As you know, Lucy became ill and died in 1910 so very little is know of her life or about Mr. Kelly. Well, have a wonderful holiday! I recently posted a message concerning Isaac Adams (abt 1825-1862/67). I also have Hudson connections including a Mollie Hudson (1875-aft 1910), daughter of William H. Hudson & Mary Frances Kidwell, who married an Isaac H. Adams (1877-aft 1910). No further information on him.

Thank you so much. Family notes just said Lizzie had committed suicide but I had no idea the details surrounding it. Sounds like an interesting bunch. What little I know of Lucy is that she was married to someone in Palmyra (I found Fred Ealy) but later married William Kelly (Wahlquist) and toured with the circus. She ended up in Oregon but died in 1910 after hunting barefoot in the snow. I understand she was buried in Loraine. I haven't found any documents to prove this but that's the family story. Anyway, thanks again! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I am not active in research at present, but you can reply to marypage51. She and I are 1st cousins and have worked our tree together. I gave her a copy of the hand written obit for Washington Wren that was in my uncles records. She is good to share info. Also go to archive.quinceylibrary.org. You can type in a name and it searches the old newspapers. Lots of info on Haynes Hudson. Very intresting reading. We solved the mystery of what happened to their daughter Lizzy, that was just listed as deceased in the obit. Have fun and good luck. Thanks for your replies, but the Elijah Adams and Rebecca Wilks mentioned seem to have no connection to the Isaac Adams I'm looking for.
Is there anyone on here that has any knowledge of Center School, District 1, Richfield Twp? Would there be any records of students available? My grandfather went there in the late 1890's ( 1895-1897 ) Would there be any records of students there, and would there be any pictures of this school? Eddy A. Flick
