I am particularly interested in information about where this family originated. Sebastian and Eva Mast are my g-g grandparents. Sebastian Mast originaly purchased land in Defiance Co., Ohio, then sold part of it to his brother, Ferdinand (sometimes called Fortunat)Mast. Ferdinand was at one time in Richland Co., Ohio. There was another Mast family (George) in Richland County for many years that shared common first names with my two Mast families. Anyone know the connection there?
