    3. The name "Broeker" certainly drew my attention. My Great Grandmother, Catherine Stening (b. Oct. 2, 1826 in Germany, married Gerhard Broeckers on July 21, 1852. He died Sept. 8, 1852, she was pregnant and had a baby girl Apr. 26, 1853. She then married my Great Grandfather, Bernard Heinrich Groeting, Nov. 22, 1853. I have tried everything I know to find out why and how he died. I have not been able to find anything. I do have the recording of the marriage in 1852. I would really appreciate any news you may have. Thank you, Marie Pickett nee Krogman born and raised in Quincy, IL. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kerry McHugh" <kmmchugh@attbi.com> To: <ILADAMS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 14, 2002 1:37 PM Subject: [ILADAMS] Nov 7 Obit needed-Quincy Herald Whig > > > Now I have another request, this time from the other side of my family. > I just came across the death notice for my great aunt on the Whig.com site. 3. Greenmounts records are on line or soon will be. If you have family there, they have asked to for you to help by supplying additional information, such as maiden names. They will incorporate it in their files and site. I also included where my family was from , since all were born out side the country. I also gave them names of the parents. Not all of this info will be on line, but it will be available to any who come in to their office to view the records. ----- Original Message ----- From: "libby" <goosle@adams.net> To: <ILADAMS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 3:31 PM Subject: [ILADAMS] Gillespie cemetery look-up > Your best bet for finding an obit might be the Il.
