If this is any help, in a time frame between1984-86 my parents had visted him in california and mentioned that he had a hobby of making wooden clocks, (which is still at my parents home) arthur was married at the time to a wanda, maiden name wasn't known. but she had blond hair. Our family has pictures of this trip. My source at first didn't know arthurs wifes name, but when mentioned wanda, it was a definte yes.
