I know this is in German, but it would have been nice to have put it English for those who either don't speak or understand German, me I only got a few of the words.

I have reason to believe that William H. (Henry? )Akers' family lived in Columbus, Adams Cty, IL. in the 1840-50's. William though born in Ohio had siblings according to the 1850 census born in Adams county. William left for Missouri, married Julia Howe (b. in KY) and had a daughter, Eva. Julie died by the 1860 census and William went with Eva to Iowa. Does this sound like one of your Akers family
