McDade, Raymond H. Article Text: Raymond H. McDade, 64, of Winchester, died Saturday Feb. 23, 2008 at his home. He was born May 20, 1943 in Winchester to the late James Howard and Daisy Bratsch McDade. He married Carolyn Ann Daniels Jan. 21, 1964 in Winchester. She preceded him in death Dec. 8, 1999. He married Linda Marquez Daniels June 10, 2000 in Winchester, and she survives at home. Also surviving are his three sons, Raymond (wife Connie) McDade Jr. of Sikeston, Mo., James E. (wife Tracy) McDade of Barry and Harold (wife Lisa) McDade of Jacksonville; two step daughters, Lisa Daniels and Jenny (husband Carter) McEuen, both of Pearl; and 11 grandchildren, Jamie, Raymond III, Earl, Daisy, Matt, Justin, Courtney, Will, Andrew, Austin and Hunter. Also preceding him in death were two infant sisters. Mr. McDade attended Winchester schools; he was trained as a Combat Engineer in the US Army as a Specialist 5 in Germany. He was employed with Freesen Inc. retiring after 31 years as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of the Operating Engineers local 965. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching football, NASCAR, and going to the rodeo. He also liked to fish and work in his yard and garden. He was especially fond of spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 am today, Wednesday Feb. 27, at the Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will be in Green Pond Cemetery near Pearl where military rites will be conducted.
