Swanson, residing at East Main street and Gilbert avenue were the parents of a son, born in the Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Mrs. Arthur Randall of Delong, a sister of Mrs. George M. Clark of this city, submitted to an operation in St. Mary's Hospital and was reported to be recovering nicely. G.E. Cashman, former manager of the Auditorium theater, had received an offer from the government for rental for some land he owned near Louisana, MO., to be used as a military camp. Mrs. James Burgess of Dayton, O., arrived here for an extended visit, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.
