Ruth, The Chicago Historical Society Research Library carries the Abendpost (German) Newspaper. I was able to get an obit their for 1907. You might want to check with them on the years they have. The only library (that I know of) to get old Chicago newspapers is the Harold Washington Library, downtown Chicago. It is worth the trip, as they have so many papers to choose from. Ruth, Thank you for your input. I live in Pa. and unable to travel. I do have a niece and nephew that live in that area. I will give them the info.
