Please I need some help finding a news article from Peoria. I would dearly love to have an accounting but I don't have access to a library to search myself. What I am looking for is an article in 1869 (summer possibly, they left in the 'fall' ) about my g-g-grandfathers store being destroyed by fire. The store was called Cents Furnishing owned by John G. Goerke. He lost all previous family records in that fire. Please if you can help I would be so grateful. I'll repay by helping someone else or if you need something in New Mexico please let me know.
