He was born July 18, 1958 in Beardstown to Robert Gary and Alice Virginia Sims Ham. He married Barbara Cox March 12, 1977 in Moberly, Mo. Mr. Ham was a plumbers assistant for Lindsey Childers Hardware in Versailles. He graduated from Moberly, Missouri High School. Mr. Ham attended the Versailles Christian Church and the Chambersburg Christian Church. Bob always enjoyed music and had a special gift of being able to play several instruments. He was a true nature lover who loved to spend time outdoors. Survivors include his mother, Virginia Trusty of Moberly; his maternal grandmother, Irene Sims of Versailles; his paternal grandmother, Jessie Ham of Jacksonville; three children, Robert Levi Ham and his wife Rebecca of Chambersburg, Andrew Paul Ham and his wife Karissa of Mt. Sterling and Jacob Peter Ham and his fiancé Amber McDonald of Griggsville; 10 grandchildren, Molly Marie Ham, Oakley Robert Ham, Baylor Lewis Ham, Dyson Lee Ham, Jazilyn Maxine Ham, Travin Paul Ham, Scott Ferguson, Alexandra Ferguson, Gwen Ferguson and Owen Ferguson; his companion, Christine Kessler of Versailles two step children, Jon Shepherd and his wife Kristy of Quincy and Jamie Ferguson and her husband, Larry of Quincy; one brother, Richard Ham of Lowell, Mass.; two sisters, Deborah Zuleger of Medford, Wis. and Susan MacDonald of Blue Springs, Mo. also survive along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal and maternal grandfathers and 1 son Adam Louis Ham in infancy. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24, in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Willis Landrum and Roger Ham officiating. Burial was in the Versailles West Side Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 until 8 Sunday evening at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
