Article Text: Mrs. Janice M. Neese, age 67 of New Canton, IL died Monday, March 3, 2008 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born Feb 13, 1941 in Barry, IL to Dale and Lucille Coats Billings. She married Freddy L. Neese March 5, 1964 in Bowling Green, MO and he survives. Janice was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, raising flowers and loved spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren. Mrs. Neese is survived by husband, her mother; Lucille Billings of New Canton, IL, a son; Eric (Angie) Neese of New Canton, and a daughter; Penny (David) Smith also of New Canton. Three brothers also survive; Donald Billings of Kinderhook, Kevin Billings of New Canton and Dale Billings of Pheonix, AZ., a sister Linda Horton, of New Canton, five grandchildren; Cody Grimsley, Tucker Smith, Montanna Smith and Daniel and Ryder Neese. She was preceded by her father, two brothers; Gene and Johnnie Billings and two sisters; Lavonna Rapert and Susie Patheal. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 6, 2008 At Shearer Cemetery in New Canton with Bro. Bert Sapp officiating. There will be a visitation from 4 - 7 PM on Wednesday, March 5 at the Christ Community Church in New Canton, IL. Memorials are suggested to Mrs. Neese's grandchildren's college fund. Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry is handling the arrangements.
