She was born June 25, 1974 to Larry Dean and Peggy Ann (Parry) Rumler of Rushville. She married Matthew Lee Garrett Dec. 7, 2002 in Vermont. Surviving are her husband, Matt Garrett of Vermont; two sons, Liam Know Garrett and Maxwell Dean Garrett, both of the home; her mother, Peggy Ann Rumler of Vermont; two brothers, Greg Rumler of Rock Springs, Wyo. and Michael (and Marla) Rumler of Ipava; her grandmother, Doris Parry of Astoria; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded by her father, Larry Rumler; grandparents, Willis Parry and Howard and Elva Rumler. LeAnn was a 1992 graduate of VIT High School. She held various jobs thru the years, but her most important was being a devoted mother. She spent her time caring for the special needs of her two boys with autism. LeAnn loved her family, her friends and her keepsakes. Her home was always filled from wall to wall with pictures of those closest to her heart and pictures of her favorite trips to Disney World. She also proudly displayed her support of Autism Awareness and Esophageal Cancer Awareness. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Stan Shaw officiating. Visitation was held 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 9 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Vermont Cemetery in Vermont.
