He was born on June 21, 1938, in Quincy, a son of Leonard and Frances Crowe Cramsey Sr. He married Marcia Schutte on Sept. 20, 1958, in St. John Catholic Church in Quincy. She survives. Mr. Cramsey worked for Gardner Denver, retiring in the year 2000 after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Machinists Union Local Lodge No. 822. Bill was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in rural Quincy. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Bill loved life. He especially enjoyed the outdoors and the St. Louis Cardinals, but his greatest love was his family and following all of his grandchildren's many activities. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, William Cramsey and his wife, Debbie, of Quincy, Vicki Wittland and her husband, Michael, of Quincy, Lisa Falasz and her husband, Brian, of Bloomington, David Cramsey and his wife, Susan, of Quincy and Keith Cramsey and his wife, Mary, o! f St. Louis; 16 grandchildren, Rachel, Lucas, Brett and Abbey Cramsey, Jordan, Erin and Tanner Wittland, Adam and Zachary Falasz, Emily, Connor and Carter Cramsey and Will, Drew, Joan and Cal Cramsey; two brothers, Bob Cramsey and Ken Cramsey and his wife, Barbara; five sisters, Marian Ormond, Rita Davis, Rosie Madison and her husband, Terry, Jean Frericks and her husband, Mike, and Joan Leindecker and her husband, Joe; two sisters-in-law, Jean Cramsey and Joanne Cramsey; one brother-in-law, Richard Veihl; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leonard Cramsey Jr. and Don Cramsey; one sister, Fran Veihl; two brothers-in-law, Bernard Ormond and Ken Davis, and a sister-in-law, Barbara Cramsey. SERVICES: 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home and at 10 in St. Joseph Catholic Church by Rev. Jeff Stone. Interment in Calvary Cemetery in Quincy. VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. Friday in the fu! neral home with a rosary service at 8 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus s ervice to follow. MEMORIALS: Knights of Columbus TV Mass for Shut-Ins or to the CYO.
