Bon September 2, 1927 in Macomb, Illinois, Mary was the daughter of George and Nellie Amerine Welch. She married Rev. Thomas Waters on July 28, 1946 in Macomb. He survives. Mary was a graduate of Macomb High School and was employed for 13 years by Two Rivers Council of Public Officials, retiring as the energy coordinator. Survivors include her husband, Pastor Tom Waters; two daughters, Catherine Reynolds and her husband Ray of Woodstock, IL. and Frances Rhodes and her husband Michael of Paris, France; three sons, Thomas Waters and his wife Suzi and Rev. James Waters and his wife Lynn both of Quincy and Jeffrey Waters and his wife Sandra of Payson; thirteen grandchildren, Brian Reynolds and his wife Dawn of Genoa, IL., Jenni Reynolds and her fiance' Rob Deacon of Woodstock, IL., Tony Rodes and his wife Katie of Quincy, Nicholas Rhodes, Christopher Rhodes and Erin Rhodes all of Keller, TX., Ryan Waters of Tampa, FL., Ashley Waters, Logan Waters, Alexander Waters, Brittany Waters, Zachary Waters and Brandon Meyer all of Quincy; seven great grandchildren, Ceri Deacon of Woodstock, IL., Abbey Rhodes of Quincy and Briannah Reynolds, Christinah Reynolds, Joshua Reynolds, Phillip Mohr and Kenleigh Mohr all of Genoa, IL.; two brothers, Robert Welch and his wife Alice of Bellingham, WA. and Richard Wel! ch and his wife Anne of Hanford, CA.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mark Welch; and two sisters, Frances Bubb and Helen Miller. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in the Living Water Fellowship Church, 2410 Lind, by the Rev. Bob Cook. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:00 until the time of services at Living Water Fellowship Church.
