    3. Mrs. Lorinda Miller Mrs. Lorinda Miller of 114 E. Beecher St. died Monday morning in Brokaw Hospital. Mrs. Miller, who was 90 years old, had been ill since she fell and broke her hip Nov. 27. The funeral will be at Wright's Funeral Home in Lincoln. She was born at Jeffersonville Nov. 24, 1860. She was married to William J. Miller at Jeffersonville Oct. 15, 1879. They moved to Elkhart in 1884 and engaged in farming until her husband's death in 1925. Mrs. Miller resided in Elkhart until February of this year when she came to Bloomington to live with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Broughton of 114 E. Beecher St. She was the mother of six children, the four oldest ones preceeding her in death. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Amy Broughton, and a son, A. Carl Miller of Athens, Ill; 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Beecher St., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wright Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Harold W. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery. The Daily Pantagraph, Tuesday, December 19, 1950 Prominent Retired Farmer of Logan Summoned Beyond Lincoln, Jan. 21 - (Special) - William J. Miller, well known resident of Elkhart, died at his home in that village on Monday evening after a decline of considerable duration. Mr. Miller was born at Honeycreek, Henry county, Indiana, May 27, 1856. Besides his widow the following children survive Mr. Miller's demise: G. T. Miller, of Elkhart; Mary M. Silas, of Mancelona, Mich.; Chas. C. Miller, of Elkhart; W. P. Miller, Elkhart; Amy A. Baughton of Bloomington, and A. H. Miller of Elkhart. The following brothers and sisters also survive: N. E. Miller, of Peoria; Z. N. Miller, of Elkhart; J. H. Miller of Huntington Beach, Cal.; Sadie Groves, of Fairfield; Emma Shrader of Mt. Pulaski; Eldo Miller, of Latham; O. (?). Miller, of Springfield; Hattie Reiterman, of Mr. Pulaski; Carrie Beck of Mt. Pulaski. Mr. Miller was a member of the Christian church and two fraternal organizations, Odd Fellows and Modern Woodmen. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church in Elkhart in charge of Rev. McMullen of Springfield, pastor of the church.
