From The Daily American, Monday, Dec 9, 1940, West Frankfort, Illinois JACK YOUNG, 64, DIES FOLLOWING HEART ATTACK Jack Young, 64, died early Sunday following a heart attack in his room in the Coleman building on North Emma street. A lifelong resident of Franklin county, Young had virtually spent his entire life in West Frankfort. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jackson Dillon of West Frankfort and Mrs. Alvie Coleman of Thompsonville; two nephews, Orlie Coleman and Raymond Young, of this city, and a niece, Martha Moore of Benton. The body will lie in state at the Union funeral home, where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be observed in the I. O. O. F. cemetery in West Frankfort.
