    3. I would appreciate it if someone could help me access an obit for Mildred McNAMARA, buried April 28, 1951 at Holy Sepulchre, Alsip, IL. She was 46, according to the cemetery records. She was buried in the family plot of Walter McNAMARA, who married into our TULLY line. There is also another woman buried in this plot who appears to be a second--or maybe third--wife, according to that obit. But as I can't find an obit for Mildred McNamara in the Chicago Tribune, I don't know if she was a wife or possibly mother or unmarried sister of Walter's. Finding an obit for Mildred would help sort out all the children named in Walter's and the other wife's obits. I'm trying to get the "his, hers, and ours" lists in order! If anyone has access to obits for Chicago area in 1951 other than the Chicago Tribune (or a better index than what is already online for the Trib), I'd appreciate a lookup! Jacqi

    3. Hi Jacqi, I can check at the library but all I have is the Tribune. The libraries Tribune is complete from 1861 thru present day. :) Pam S., Volunteer for Cook county ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jacqi Stevens" <jacqistevens@comcast.net> To: <IL-OBITS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, June 04, 2005 1:14 PM Subject: [IL-OBITS] lookup req for Chicago area, Cook Co 1951 > I would appreciate it if someone could help me access an obit for Mildred > McNAMARA, buried April 28, 1951 at Holy Sepulchre, Alsip, IL. 3. Hi Jacqi, I am so sorry but I did not find an obituary for Mildred McNamara in the Chicago Tribune from April 23rd thru April 30, 1951. I will be going downtown sometime this week or next and will check the Daily News.
