I am looking for Census and Obit for my GGGGrandfather HIRAM WOOD Died: Pope Co., IL On: 23 Dec 1895 This is all the information that I have on him. I was thinking if I could find him in the 1880 and 1890 Census, I could place a city with him. So far I haven't had much luck. Do you have a wife's name? The only chance you have is the 1880 Census as the 1890 is no more. There is no Hiram Wood in Pope Co Ill in 1880. There is a Hiram Wood b. NY , wife Marie b. Ire, daughter Carrie b. IL in Chicago, Cook County Hiram, wife Mary, daughter Eunice and sons Timothy and Wellington in Western, Henry County Hiram J.
