Since you "need many", one choice would be for you to go to your Richmond, Kentucky library and request that they borrow the microfilmed newspapers through the Illinois library system. That way you could browse through the papers at your leisure and you might find other interesting family articles, too. http://www.state.il.us/hpa/lib/ then click on "Microfilms and Newspapers" in the right-hand column. Then click "By City" to see what is available. One word of advice - if you are a browser, don't order too many the first time. The films are so interesting to read that you will find yourself wanting to absorb much. Time consuming, but oh, so much fun. You usually get to keep the microfilm at your library for 2 weeks or so, give or take transportation time. Maybe figure 2 or 3 hours for each film? I understood that I can't post another request until I have heard from the first one. I need many from Pulaski and Alexander Counties in Illinois. Must I wait weeks or months until this one below is answered before I can post another? Thank you for your e-mail below.
