Thank you for looking. Carol Our life may not always be the party we would have chosen, but while we are here, we may as well dance!
Carol, I was unable to find an obit for Wallace Wade. I couldn't find any newspaper from Sept 11th 1915 through Feb 1916. That section was missing. I'm sorry not to have been more help. Anna
Carol: I was unable to find an obit on Lillian Wade. I looked from the death date up to Aug. 4th, 1916. This is from the Benton paper. West Frankfort has no papers on microfilm earlier than 1919. Anna
Thanks Anna! I thought this Mayes might have been related to my Nancy Jane Mays born in KY in 1845 and died 1989 in Villa Ridge, Pulaski County, IL married (or common-law) to my grandfather, John L. Daniel, but I see there is no connection. I do appreciate your trying to help me. Looking for the obituary of WILLIAM KNOEBEL (KNOBEL or KNOWBEL) of Chicago who died July 7, 1919, when he was hit by a car (or a horse drawn carriage) that was driven by the son or daughter of the Mayor of Chicago. I wasn't able to find the obituary or newspaper account in the Chicago Tribune Historical Archives. Thanks very much. Loretta Myrter lorettam@adelphia.net
Can I please get look-up results for a Chicago death obit search on Philip Lacascio, b. ca. 1885, Italy. Wife Margaret (O'Hagen). Two sons, Frank P. and John J. and daughter, Eileen. His death was pre-1938, or thereabout, I believe. I've had no luck with IL Statewide Death Index, using various spellings of the last name. I've only found a Philip Cascio, d. 1/25/1935. I prefer trying this route before sending off $10 for a copy of the Cascio certificate.
Hello, Is there a lookup for Pana, Christian, Illinois? If so looking for an obit on, Mary Alexander, died 01/31/1904. Thanks Gloria
