TALK ABOUT how you took the time to write the answers to these questions - Where did you write the majority of them, in a favorite chair, in a favorite place, describe the routine you went through to 'get yourself ready' , as in: did you get your cup of coffee ready, get the materials from previous notes near to you, get your genealogy material near to you, wear certain clothes, like lounging clothes, or did you quickly fit small amounts of time into your day to type/write some notations, tell of these situations. This can be your introduction to your book. Have someone take a photo of you in this writing place and put it in the book. 2. Did you respond to most of the questions, and if not, how did you select which you would write about, were there any that you absolutely did NOT WANT to respond to and why was that, take the time to return to that question and detail WHY you did not want to respond to that particular cluster. 3. Are you glad that you did this written interview for your family? Do you think that they will enjoy reading it, keep it perhaps as a treasured heirloom? Are you worried about their criticism of 'style' or 'technique' or were you worried but now think the information is of more value than technique? Did you ever speak about the project to others in your circle, and what were their comments, what were your comments about it all at the beginning and what are they now at the end? Remember...... Write as you speak.... Be yourself.... Write liberally...... Do not worry about technique.... It is the THOUGHT that counts - or thoughts!
