Dorothy E. Tegtmeier lifelong resident of Palatine Memorial services for Dorothy E. Tegtmeier (nee Jaster), 79, will be private. Born Nov. 20, 1924, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at Northwest Community Hospital. She was a homemaker. She loved getting together with her family, enjoyed her grandchildren, and liked to travel. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert; loving mother of Robert (Mary) of Houston, Rick (Barb) of Rolling Meadows, Gary (Shawn) of Crystal Lake and Judy (Gary) Zimmer of Palatine; cherished grandmother of 10; and dear sister-in-law of Ruth (Tom) Corcoran of Palatine.
