Born May 19, 1915, in Schaumburg, she died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at St. Alexius Medical Center. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin. She was the wife of the late Aaron; sister of the late Walter (the late Virginia) and Albert (Viola) Straub of Schaumburg; aunt of Beverly (James) Shuttle of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Carolyn (Joel) Gyurnek of Schaumburg; and great aunt and great-great aunt of many. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services today, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
