They applied for marriage on September 24, 1872. The clerk pro tem was George W. Wheeler. I have a copy of the marriage license but it only tells me the information I am listing. They were Charles Meyer and Elisabet Wille. Are there any records I could search which would give me more information. I would like to know what church they married in and who were their Groomsman and Maid of Honor. It would be nice to have records as to where they lived but there were no census records in this time period.
