Harold H. Vogt of Cary Funeral services for Harold H. Vogt, 76, a former lifetime resident of Palatine, will be private. Born April 24, 1927, in Palatine, he died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Interment will be private. Mr. Vogt originally farmed with his father on the family farm, located at Palatine and Ela Roads, Palatine. He later became a tool & die maker and worked for Conex, a division of Illinois Tool Works, for 30 years before retiring in 1992. Mr. Vogt was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Marie E. Vogt (nee Bodor); and by his children, Janet Marie Cheney and Daryl H. Vogt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ida Vogt.
