Rose C. Kelso of Des Plaines for 60 years Funeral services for Rose C. Kelso (nee Trost), 80, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Des Plaines, where she will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Born Dec. 12, 1922, in Mount Prospect, she died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Holy Family Hospital. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines. Rose was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was the wife of the late Neil; mother of Dennis D. (Nancy) Kelso and Judith B. (Benedict) Gondek; grandmother of Neil Kelso, Theresa "Tracey" Gondek, Kathryn "Katie" Gondek, and Michael Kelso; sister of Christ (Carol) Trost of Chicago, Raymon (Arlene) Trost of Hillsboro, Ill. and the late Dorothy Soplanda; and aunt of very many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m today, at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
