I'm looking for the German family of my great grand parents, Frederick Noble (Nebel), born 12 January 1850, Berlin, Germany and Marie Beierling born 24 January 1851 Bernburg, Germany. Married January 1876 Berlin, Germany. They immigrated from Hamburg, Germany to Port of NY, 7 January 1879 by way of Havre. Became a citizen June 6th 1916 in Circuit Court of Hillsborough County, Tampa, FL. Frederick and Mary had one child born in Germany and three born after immigrating to United States. The emigration vessel was "El Vitchi", this name was in quotation marks (what ever that means) on his Petition for Naturalization record. On www.immigrantships.net I found German ship SS Suevia from Hamburg, Germany to Port of NY on January 7, 1879 Freidrick Uebel 40 M Farmer Germany USA between decks Magdalina Uebel 30 F his wife Germany USA between decks Magdalina Uebel 05 F his child Germany USA between decks Could Marie be a name for Magdalina in German? Marie (Magdalina) was the daughter of Lebrecht and Johanna Schulze Beierling, Bernburg, Germany. We have five generations of their descendants in the United States, no ancestries in Germany.
