Victor H. Krueger of Mount Prospect Funeral services for Victor H. Krueger, 81, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. John Lutheran Church, 1100 Linneman Road, Mount Prospect, where he will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. Born May 6, 1922, in Elk Grove Township, he died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery. Mr. Krueger had worked for the Arnor Stone Company for many years, he also was a farmer for many more years and was a member of the Cook County Farm Bureau. He was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Prospect, where he served as an elder, deacon and in many other positions. In addition, he was a 30 year member of the ABC Bowling Association. Victor was the husband of Dorothy (nee Evert); father of Peggy (Ted) Rottmann, Wayne, Wes Krueger and the late Frances (Jim) Sandersfeld; brother of the late Ardell Mensching and Kenneth Krueger; grandfather of six; and great-grandfather of seven. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of one's choice.
