Richard L. Busse of Mount Prospect Memorial services for Richard L. Busse, 80, a lifelong resident of Mount Prospect, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mount Prospect. Born Oct. 19, 1923, in Mount Prospect, he died Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at his home. Mr. Busse was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps and the commander of American Legion Post #89 in Minocqua, Wis. Richard was the husband of Viola Busse (nee Niebuhr); father of Richard (Geri) Busse, Michael (Shari) Busse and Bruce (Donna) Busse; grandfather of Richard (Susan), Megan, Emiko, Dawn and Brett; and brother of Chester (Gene) Busse. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund. Arrangements were made by Friedrichs Funeral Home, Mount Prospect.
