Jean Straub of Hoffman Estates Funeral services for Jean Straub (nee Harris), 77, will be private. Born Aug. 2, 1926, in Paducah, Ky., she died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Jean was the loving mother of Ted (Dorothy) Straub; loving grandmother of Lori (James) Magel and Joseph Straub; loving great-grandmother of Ryan and Jenna Magel; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton F. Straub; her parents, Owen and Mary Harris; and by her sister, Louise Mikieta.
