General information: This information has been transcribed from a 1954 Farm Plat Book of Cook County published by Paul Baldwin and Son of 418 Underwood Street, P O Box 916, Rockford, Illinois. A copy of this Schaumburg Township Map, as well as the township maps for Barrington, Palatine, Wheeling, Elk Grove, Hanover are in the Historical Map Files at the Schaumburg Townwhip District Library. There are no building indicators on this map, but there are some streets, and some creeks noted. Notes for transcription: No punctuation is entered on initials. A comma follows ALL surnames. Jr and Sr is shown as part of the given name. Est refers to Estate. The researcher should investigate probate records in Cook County for more information. MRS is shown where shown on the map and is treated as part of a given name - Meyer, Mrs X . Spelling is AS SHOWN on the map. The reader should look at both sort sequences to be confident of a full and complete analysis. The researcher should also refer to the booklet of other Landownership maps that have been transcribed.
