    3. Subject: MY very own RECOLLECTIONS - 44/100 1. Tell about Halloween Night - as a child, as a parent, as a grandparent - changes between the generations, what concerns were there about safety, did you ever skip any houses, or apartment buildings, did you have a plan for knocking on doors, did you go in groups or alone, when was the last time you went trick or treating, did you ever do any tricks, what were they, how far from home did you travel to trick or treat, did you ever go to any planned festivities, like at a house party or at a park as a child, as an adult, if you did not trick or treat, what was it like in your home on this day. 2. Tell about the division of the BEST candies you collected on Halloween, did you have to share your stash, did you protect it from thievery, Just how much candy did you gather on that night, would it overflow a normal shoebox, or two, . 3. Which of your elders had missing appendages, and do you know the stories about these accidents, eyesight/deafness? were there any other physical 'differences' (hereditary or not) that you can recall and notate, do tell when in life these occurred, for as part of a medical genealogy, the time at which sicknesses/illnesses/diseases first appeared in their lives in important, who used a cane, eyeglasses, hearing aides, walkers, chairs? Write freely about this for it is a subject that seldom is spoken and feelings and thoughts that people have are often unknown. Do you think this should be the way, or do you think that medical issues within a family should be openly spoken about? Remember...... Write as you speak.... Be yourself.... Write liberally...... Do not worry about technique.... It is the THOUGHT that counts - or thoughts! Write as if it might be the LAST time you can address the question... 0 0 0
