Marilyn Garlisch of Mount Prospect A ceremony celebrating the life of Marilyn Garlisch, 68, will be held at noon Saturday. Feb. 7, at Unity Church of Chicago, 1925 W. Thome (between Devon and Peterson), Chicago. Call (773) 973-0007 for directions. An open house will follow at Marilyn's home, 602 S. Busse Road, Mount Prospect. Marilyn treasured every conversation and cherished every relationship. She was an inspiration to everyone and will be missed beyond measure. She was the cherished mother of Gail Garlisch Buquicchio and Glenn Garlisch; proud grandmother of Madeleine, Nicholas and Victoria Garlisch; beloved mother-in-law of Daniel Buquicchio and Bridget Eakin Garlisch; dear sister of John, Mack and Jerry Neff; special aunt of her nieces and nephews; and a treasured friend to a remarkable circle of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted by the Garlisch family who will make a donation in Marilyn's memory to the Lilac Tree, an organization that supports women in transition.
