October 6 1959 To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of Cook County County Building Chicago 2, Illinois Gentlemen Attention Complaints by the People of Schaumburg Township Whereas there are no traffic signs on Roselle Road from Golf Road to Devon Avenue in Schaumburg Traffic is speeding through the intersection of Roselle Road and Schaumburg Roads. There should be 4way stop signs on Schaumburg Road. The East Side View is blocked at the corner by Lennox Town Heating and Niemann's Tavern. School Busses with Children crossing the intersection, children walking across to school and heavy traffic on Roselle Road from Hoffman Estates and the general traffic of the neighborhood and business establishment in this corner. Also a complaint at Thacker and Roselle Roads being flooded at the corner. This summer the Cook County Highway build a catch basin on Roselle Road right-of-way on top of a 10 inch tile line with a tile to be the catch basin.
