Hi to Cricket and Dave, distant cousins of mine, Hmmmm maybe 1603 is when the church records existing date back to? Guess I will ask my contact who is a parishoner to ask! Isn't it amazing how well we can date our architecture here....but have no points of reference much beyond 100-150 years as few buildings here are saved. I mentioned this to a german contact in talking about Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan and he told me about THEIR historical villages where THEY save houses(aside from those ancient villages where people still live).....TALK ABOUT OLD! Now I am curious to find out just how old that church is and just HOW FAR BACK their records go?! Laurie
