    3. from courier news 2/09/04 Gertrude Rohlwing, 88, of Elgin passed away Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Rosewood Health Care. She was born on April 22, 1915 in Des Plaines, IL , the daughter of Gustav and Anna Michehl Kerschke Member of St. John's Lutheran Church if Elgin, IL for 66 years. Also a member of the Ladies Aid Society of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband Arnold whom she married on September 4, 1937; three sons, Donald (Teri) of Bartlett, Kenneth (Sue) of St. Charles and Arinie (Karen) of Elgin; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; step mother Martha Simon Kerschke; one brother Robert Kerschke; one sister Hilda Pfingsten. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin, IL with Rev. Herman Christiansen officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 3 to 8 p.m. at Madison Funeral Home 305 Park St. Elgin.
