The resulting collection is to be used specifically for research purposes and not the purpose of profit taking by the members, by the custodian of the material, by any researcher or user using the material. The original book is with the Schaumburg Township in their archive box 117. April 6, 1960 there was discussion about a new township library. Mrs Frank Wiley was appointed as the chairman, Mrs Melcher, Mr Bolsia Mrs Davenport Mrs Zimmerman and Mr Dunteman were appointed to serve with her. to report in September. 2. April 26 1961 first discussion regarding a township wide Youth Commission. 3. April 26, 1961 first discussion regarding a permanent meeting place. 4. In the minutes of April 4, 1961, there was a comment by Mr Gathman, that from General Assistance Fund, that it cost $225.00 to bury a person. to which Rev Lowe commented, "Are we getting competition from Mr Gathman? I say this in jest." 5. General Assistance Fund Budget April 1961 was: Food $5000 Rent $1000 Fuel $1000 Light $500 Clothing $500 Medical Care (including nursing, dental and optical) $100 Other $1000 for a total of $10,000 6. A Tax Study Commission is created and established for the Township of Schaumburg with the purpose to investigate and report their effect on taxation for these area (and others as they designate) 1. Methods of establishment of better builder developer - school board relations and control of residential development as it affects schools. 2. Establishment of a single fire district. 3. Establishment of a singe police department 4. Requirements for Light Duty Development.
