    3. Victor J. Warner of Carpentersville A funeral Mass for Victor J. Warner, 84, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Dundee. Born Dec. 17, 1919, in St. Cloud, Minn., the son of John S. and Anna M. (nee Lodemeier) Warner, he died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at the ASTA Care Center of Elgin, surrounded by his loving family. Interment will follow the Mass in the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee. Vic was a 57 year resident of the Dundee area. He was the former owner and operator of J.S. Warner & Sons Monument Co. in East Dundee until his retirement in 1994. He was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, where he was a former many year member of the choir. Vic was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathleen R. (nee Stallman) Warner, whom he married on May 11, 1946; their nine blessed children, Kathy Hurley of Carpentersville, Lauren Christopherson of Cary, Steve Warner of Portland, Ore., Sue (Jim) Stec of Thornton, Colo., Mike (Linda) Warner of Austin, Texas, John (Barb) Warner of Carpentersville, Phil (Cheri) Warner of Glen Beulah, Wis., Vicki (Fraser) Domich of West Dundee and Joan Torres of Carpentersville; 25 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his sisters, Margaret Dospil of Aurora, Gertrude (John) Rotundo of Elgin and Therese (Wayne) Fitzsimmons of Carpentersville; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a great grandson, B! randon Warner; his brothers, Louis, Leo, Meinrod, Joseph, Edward, William and Claude; and by his sisters, Rosemary Schumacher and Mary Warner. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee, and from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass Wednesday, at the church. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, or masses would be appreciated. Friends may visit www.dailyherald.com/obits to express condolences and sign the guest book.
